September Means Business (But the Stories Keep Coming)
September arrived with full force, and I have not slowed down since.
School is back in session, which means I am teaching middle schoolers during the day and college students at night. In the midst of all that, the writing does not stop. Stories do not wait until I am rested. They do not care about how long my to-do list is. They show up loudly and persistentlyβhaunting me like a jumbie pounding on a zinc roof in a rainstormβuntil I release them onto the page.
Thatβs exactly how Black Girls Day Off was born.
What started as a story has now become an event I am so proud of. And the best part?

So tell me:
How are you managing your time to make sure you are maximizing the gifts God gave you?
Let me know in the commentsβIβd love to hear from you.
π£ And if youβve read any of my books, please consider leaving an honest review on Goodreads or wherever you buy books. It helps tremendouslyβand letβs be real, donβt you want others to know how sweet these stories are?
