Every story has a turning point. A moment before which everything was one way and after which nothing can go back to normal. Sometimes it happens early. Sometimes you don't realize it was the turning point until later.

As you read today look for that moment in your book — or think back to where you've already read and ask yourself if it already happened.

Reading Prompt:
Read 10–20 minutes. Ask yourself — has anything happened in this story that can't be undone?

Writing Prompt:
Write a paragraph describing the moment you think changed everything in your story. What happened? What was different after that moment compared to before it?
