Week 3: Go Deeper 📚 (Unlocks Wednesday July 15)
Every book has a narrator — a voice that guides you through the story. That voice has a personality, a perspective, and blind spots. Some narrators tell you everything. Some leave things out on purpose. Some don't even realize what they don't know.
Today we pay attention to the voice telling your story.
Reading Prompt:
Read 10–20 minutes. Pay attention to how the story is being told, not just what is happening. Does the narrator feel reliable? Funny? Guarded? Angry? What do you notice about their voice?
Writing Prompt:
Write a paragraph describing the narrator of your story. What kind of person are they? What do they notice? What do they seem to be leaving out? Do you trust them? Why or why not?
