Thirty days.

Thirty days of showing up. Thirty days of opening a book when you could have done something easier. Thirty days of reading prompts and writing prompts and reflections and questions and letters and predictions and characters and settings and themes and moments that stayed with you long after you put the book down.

Your child is a reader. Not because they finished a challenge. Because they chose to be — every single day for a month.

That is not nothing. That is everything.

Today there is no prompt. There is no assignment.

Just this — find a quiet moment today and read together. Or let your child read alone if that is what they prefer. Or listen to a chapter of an audiobook on a drive somewhere. Whatever reading looks like in your home right now — do that. Because you built this. And it belongs to you now.

Before you go — a few things:

You finished the Summer Reading Challenge. But the habit does not have to stop here.

What's coming next:

This fall I am launching the Back to School Reading Challenge — a new challenge designed to carry this momentum right into the school year. One book. New prompts. A fresh start with the habit already in place.

And if your child is ready for something bigger — stay tuned for the Year-Long Reading Challenge launching in September. One book a month for the entire school year. Guided prompts. Monthly reflections. A community of readers doing it together.

To be the first to know when registration opens: Follow me at @kittiwriter1 on Instagram or visit leahtwilliams.net

And if your child read one of my books during this challenge — or if you want to find their next one — my full collection is available at leahtwilliams.net in paperback, ebook, and audiobook.

If this challenge helped your child — tell someone. Share it with a parent in your school group, your neighborhood, your church, your family. Reading is contagious when someone you trust says it mattered.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for choosing books. Thank you for thirty days.
